1. Operation
Prior to first operation, please check if your mains voltage
corresponds with the operating voltage of the unit, which
can be found on the type plate (5). Then put the plug of the
connecting cable into the socket (2) and the mains plug
into a mains
socket.
The light box is switched on with switch (3).
Please note that the louvers (8) on the left may not be

2. Wall mounting (Fig. B)
The light box can be attached to a wall. Please secure the
housing by means of an additional attachment with a screw
fixture (through hole (7)).

3. Changing lamps (Fig. C)
The colour temperature of the fluorescent lamps is nearly
constant over an operating period of about 8000 hours. The
Box
lamps should then be replaced.
Pull out the mains plug before changing lamps.

Open the light box as follows: Remove the three screws on
the left sidepiece (a). Remove the sidepiece and pull the
sheet of acrylic plastic out of its guides (b).
Fold back the lamp holder (c). Then hold down the red
locking button on the lamp fitting (d) and take the lamp out
of the fitting (e).
Insert the new lamp in the lamp holder with the silver strips
upwards. Then press the contact pins of the lamp from the
top into the fitting until they audibly click in. Close the lamp
holder again.
Slide the acrylic sheet back again and fasten on the left
sidepiece.
Every time you change the lamps, make a note of the rea-
ding of the operating hours counter (6) on the label for this
purpose (9).
Only use the fluorescent lamps specified. Follow the lamp
manufacturer's

Any repairs necessary to the light box must only be carried
out by qualified persons.
