Read all safety warnings and
all instructions. Failure to fol-
low the warnings and instruc-
tions may result in electric
shock, fire and/or serious inju-
ry.
This glue pen and this charger are
not intended for use by children
and persons with physical, sensory
or mental limitations or a lack of ex-
perience or knowledge.
This glue pen and this charger can
be used by children aged 8 or older
and by persons who have physical,
sensory or mental limitations or a
lack of experience or knowledge if
a person responsible for their safe-
ty supervises them or has instruct-
ed them in the safe operation of the
glue pen and charger and they un-
derstand the associated dangers.
Otherwise, there is a danger of oper-
ating errors and injuries.
Supervise children during use,
cleaning and maintenance. This will
ensure that children do not play with
the glue pen or the charger.
Only charge Bosch lithium-ion
batteries with a capacity over
1,5 Ah (more than 1 battery cells).
The battery voltage must match
the battery charging voltage of the

chargeable batteries. Otherwise
there is danger of fire and explosion.
 Do not allow persons unfamiliar with the glue pen or
the instructions to operate the device.

er yourself, and have repairs carried out only by a qual-
ified repair person using only identical replacement
parts. Damaged glue guns, chargers, cables and plugs in-
crease the risk of an electric shock.
 Do not leave the switched on glue pen unattended.
Protect the glue pen against heat, e. g., against
continuous intense sunlight, fire, water, and mois-
ture. Danger of explosion.
 Do not touch the hot nozzle and the silicone cap. Danger
of burns.
 Charge the glue pen only with chargers recommended
by the manufacturer. Otherwise there is danger of fire.
 Keep the charge socket on the glue gun and the charge
connector away from paper clips, coins, keys, nails,
screws or other small metal objects, that can make a
connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the
terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
 Have your glue pen and charger serviced only by a qual-
ified repair person using only identical replacement
parts. This will ensure that the safety of the product is
maintained.
 After use, place down the glue pen in a safe manner and
allow it to cool down completely before packing it
away. The hot nozzle can cause damage and/or burns.
 Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from
the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally oc-
curs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, addition-
ally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery
may cause irritations or burns.
Safety Warnings for Battery Chargers
Keep the battery charger away from rain or mois-
ture. Penetration of water in the battery charger in-
creases the risk of an electric shock.
 Charge the glue pen only with the supplied charger.
 Keep the battery charger clean. Contamination can lead
to danger of an electric shock.
 Do not operate the battery charger on easily inflamma-
ble surfaces (e. g., paper, textiles, etc.) or surround-
ings. The heating of the battery charger during the charg-
ing process can pose a fire hazard.
 In case of damage and improper use of the battery, va-
pours may be emitted. Ventilate the area and seek
medical help in case of complaints. The vapours can irri-
tate the respiratory system.
Products sold in GB only: Your product is fitted with a
BS 1363/A approved electric plug with internal fuse (ASTA
approved to BS 1362).
If the plug is not suitable for your socket outlets, it should be
cut off and an appropriate plug fitted in its place by an author-
ised customer service agent. The replacement plug should
have the same fuse rating as the original plug.
The severed plug must be disposed of to avoid a possible
shock hazard and should never be inserted into a mains sock-
et elsewhere.
