WARNING
Overdue maintenance can lead to fire.
WARNING
Always turn the machine OFF and unplug it from the mains
socket before carrying out the work described below. First read
the maintenance instructions at the beginning of this manual.
9.1
Periodic maintenance
The maintenance work indicated with a [1] in the table below may be
carried out by the user; all other work may only be carried out by
qualified personnel. Before performing maintenance, check status of the
unit(s) in the Air Safety Portal. Then perform visual check and check noise.
Action
Clean the outside of the machine with a mild detergent.
Clean the inside of the machine and remove the dust/
grease from the filter compartment.
Clean or replace the bag filter and/or compact filter(s).
Check the filter for damage.
9.2
Replacing the filter
Replace the filter:
in the event of damage
as soon as the extraction capacity becomes inadequate
Because the nature and degree of contamination greatly depend on factors
such as the exact application, humidity level, intensity of use etc., you will
have to determine the necessary replacement frequency based on
experience. Nevertheless, the filter should be checked regularly (every two
weeks to every two months).
WARNING
Contaminated filters often contain dust and dirt particles that
can pose a threat to health when inhaled. Therefore, wear a
proper, approved face mask when cleaning the filter.
9.2.1 Removing the filter
Switch the machine off with the main switch (fig. 4).
Remove the brackets and open the grille.
Take the filter out
