If there is no reaction on the device to be actuated
when a switch is operated and there is no
communication fault that can be corrected (device
to be actuated disconnected from the power, low
receiver batteries), the low battery is to be replaced
with a new Lithium cell of type CR 2032. Make sure
that the battery is inserted with proper polarity.
Check, that all functions are available after changing
the battery.
7.2 Teaching

with any teaching!
The switch interface supports three different modes
• Operation mode (normal operation)
• Configuration mode (for changing switch
interface parameters)
• Teach mode (Teaching HomeMatic
components)

The two devices to be connected are set to teach
mode for teaching. Now, you select the desired
channel of the transmitter to be added (taught).
The teach button (A) is located next to the outlets of
the connection lines (B).
To actuate teach mode on the switch interface,
press the teach button with a pointed object. The
switch interface is then in configuration mode,
indicated with a flashing green device LED. (If you
want to exit configuration mode, press the teach
button again.)
