•
Do not place any objects on top of the humidifier and do not sit on it.
•
Use only the original humidification mat from the manufacturer, which is
specifically suited for this humidifier.
•
Do not use the humidifier right after using insect spray or in places with oil
residue or chemical vapors or where incense sticks are burnt.
•
Do not use the humidifier near heaters, fireplaces or gas-powered devices.
•
Do not add water through the air outlets on the top side of the humidifier.
•
Bacteria and mold can form on the humidification mat if the humidifier is
not used for a longer time. Inspect the humidification mat before using the
humidifier again. The humidification mat should be changed if it has stains.
•
Clean the water reservoir and humidification mat every week to ensure
optimum hygiene.
•
Fill the water basin only with water.
•
Do not stand on the device.
•
NEVER tilt, move, or attempt to empty the unit while it is operating.
•
Shut off and unplug before removing the upper housing and moving the unit.
•
DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions
on this unit. Doing so will void your warranty. The inside of the unit contains
no user serviceable parts. All servicing should be performed by qualified
personnel only.
•
NEVER use detergents, gasoline, glass cleaner, furniture polish, and paint
thinner or other household solvents to clean any part of the humidifier.
•
Never place housing under water flow or immerse in liquids.
•
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
•
Be aware that high humidity levels may encourage the growth of biological
organisms in the environment.
•
Do not permit the area around the humidifier to become damp or wet. If
dampness occurs, turn the output of the humidifier down. If the humidifier
output volume cannot be turned down, use the humidifier intermittently.
Do not allow absorbent materials, such as carpeting, curtains, drapes, or
tablecloths, to become damp.
•
Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.
•
Never leave water in the reservoir when the appliance is not in use.
