Operation
∙ Place the grill stone and grill plate on the appliance.
∙ Insert the power plug into a wall socket. The indicator
light starts to flash.
∙ Switch on the appliance by pressing the temperature
controller and then set the temperature to MAX. The
indicator light switches to a solid light.
∙ Let the appliance preheat for about 10 minutes to reach
the required temperature. However, the grill stone
requires a pre-heating time of around 25 minutes.
∙ Place food on the grill plate or grill stone as required.
∙ Put the raclette cheese into the mini-pans. Place the
mini-pans in the appliance, under the heating element,
and leave them until the cheese has melted.
∙ When you have finished cooking, switch off the
appliance and pull out the power plug.
How to prepare raclette cheese
Use about 200 to 300 grammes of cheese per person. Cut
the cheese into slices of about 3 to 5 mm thickness and
put them into the mini-pans. It is preferable to use original
raclette cheese. Any other fast melting cheese, however, is
also suitable.
Useful tips!
∙ For the ultimate grilling experience, remove the meat
from the fridge about 30 minutes before grilling and
leave to rest covered.
∙ Frozen food should always be properly thawed before
it is cooked.
∙ Only use spatulas or other utensils made of wood or
heat-resistant plastic to avoid damaging the surfaces of
the mini-pans and the grill plate.
∙ When grilling large quantities, we recommend that you
carefully remove the accumulated grill fat from time to
time, e.g. with kitchen paper.
Cleaning and care
∙ Before cleaning the appliance, always make sure that
the plug has been removed from the wall socket and
allow the appliance to cool down.
∙ To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the
appliance with water and do not immerse it in water.
∙ Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning solutions.
∙ Wipe the outer surfaces of the grill with a clean damp
cloth.
∙ Remove the grill plate. Wash the grill plate, mini-pans
and spatulas in the dishwasher or with lukewarm water
and detergent. Then, wipe dry with a cloth.
∙ Remove the grill stone and clean it under running water
without detergent using a plastic sponge. Then, wipe dry
with a cloth. Do not immerse the stone in water.
