Important Information
Read through these operating instructions carefully prior to operating the
raclette grill for the first time and store it in a safe place. Pay particular
attention, in your own interest, to the safety information in order to avoid
accidents and malfunctions. Improper use, application or insufficient
cleaning and care can impair safety and result in danger for the user.
KÜCHENPROFI cannot accept any responsibility for injuries or damage
attributed to improper use.
Safety instructions
1. If this device is given to other persons, ensure that these operating
instructions are also handed over.
2. We accept no responsibility for any damages that occur due to
improper use or incorrect handling. This device is only intended
for household use. Do not operate the appliance in
unprotected outdoor areas.
3. Check whether the type of current and the mains voltage comply
with the information on the rating label.
4. Do not touch either the raclette device or the power plug with wet or
damp hands.
5. Connect the device to a properly installed power socket only. Do not
use any multiple socket that is already being used to run other
appliances. The plug and cord must be dry.
6. Never operate the raclette device unsupervised and use it for the
intended purpose only.

7. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children, unless they are older
than 8 years and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out
of the reach of children less than 8 years.
8. Children shall not play with the device.
9. Do not at all operate this unit with an external timer or a separate
remote control system.
10. Caution: Only operate the appliance on non-flammable, flat, stable
and sufficiently heat resistant surfaces and not near water sources,
other hotplates, gas flames or other sources of heat and out of the
reach of children. Make sure the appliance stands level on all four
feet and the heating coil is located at the top.
11. Avoid smashing or kinking the power cord or having contact to hot
surfaces or liquids and abrasion on sharp edges.
12. Do not allow the power cord to dangle and place the device in a
way that no one can fall over the cord.
13. Connect several devices (max. 4) using the enclosed connection
cable only.
14. Keep a minimum distance of 15 cm between the devices.
15. Risk of burns!
Caution: Using the device results in high temperatures. If
necessary, use oven mitts. Do not transport the appliance when
it is still hot or as long as several devices are connected together.
16. Do not pull on the cable to move the device. Lift the device and place
it in the desired location.
17. Caution: Never hold objects made of metal or other electrically
conductive objects in the contact openings of the mains outlet socket.
