Dust canister (7)
Removing the dust canister:
•
Press the dust bin release button (4), the dust bin cover will open.
•
Press the dust canister removal button (8) and pull the nozzle of the vacuum cleaner
by pulling it towards you.
•
If you feel that the vacuum performance of the vacuum cleaner is reduced, make sure
that the dust canister is not full and empty it if required.
NOTE:
We recommend you to empty the dust canister after each operation.
•
To open the dust container, you can open it by pressing the button 4.
•
After the hopper has been emptied a total of 5 times, we recommend thoroughly
cleaning the filtration system.
•
Press the upper compartment lock button (5) and then remove the upper compartment.
HEPA-filter will become accessible. Pull out the HEPA-filter and pull it out of the bowl.
•
Pour the dust from the HEPA filter into a trash can.
•
You may wash the filter lightly under warm tap water running slowly. Hold the filter at a
specific angle, thus the water would wash the dirt inside the plies.
•
Rotate the filter 180° and ensure that the water flows in the reverse direction from the
plies. Continue this operation until the filter is cleaned.
•
After it is dried, place the filter so that the UP label faces upwards.
Storage
•
Keep the appliance in a dry, dust-free area out of reach of children. Do not place vacuum
cleaner on a rough surface!
•
The vacuum cleaner shall be placed on a level surface where there shall be no risk of
tipping over.
•
Keep the charging cord in its housing (12) when the appliance is not used.
Cleaning and Maintenance of the Appliance
Detach the charging adaptor from the appliance before any maintenance operation. Clean
the surface of the vacuum cleaner and the charging adaptor with a damp soft cloth; do not
use abrasive and harsh cleaning agents! Do not dry the plastic moulds on a heat source (e.g.
a heater, electric/gas heater). Inspect the floor nozzle brush and main body handle (over the
canister) and clean them from time to time. Open the blockage and remove the waste.
