The device switches off automatically after about 10 seconds
without performing any further tests. Before switching off, a
beep sounds and „Power Off" is shown on the display. Another
beep is then emitted and the device switches off completely.
You can also switch off the breathalyzer manually by pressing
and holding the start button for 2-3 seconds. Shortly before swit-
ching off, you will hear a beep and „Power Off" will appear on the
display at the same time.
ACE recommends
• Always use a new mouthpiece for each person performing
the test! ACE accepts no responsibility for possible damage
caused by the use of one mouthpiece by several persons or
for several tests.
• Only use hygienically individually packaged mouthpieces
from ACE. The test device can become contaminated if sha-
red by several people.
• Wear gloves when removing mouthpieces from the device
after a test, especially if different people have carried out
the test. ACE Technik (www.ace-technik.com) offers suitable
gloves for this purpose.
Important notes
• If you have eaten, drunk alcohol, or smoked, wait at least 15
minutes before taking a measurement.
• This breathalyzer is a high-quality and sensitive measuring
device. To maintain the measuring accuracy of the electro-
chemical sensor, the device should be used regularly. If the
device is not used for a long period of time, the sensor may
dry out. It is recommended to use the breathalyzer at least
twice a month for alcohol testing, even if you have not consu-
med alcohol.
• For measured values below 0.07‰ (or 0.007% BAC or 0.035
mg/L - depending on the setting), the test result is displayed
as 0.00 (‰ or mg/L or % BAC - depending on the setting).
