Warnings for Rechargeable Batteries
– Do not dismantle, hit or puncture the battery, take care not to short-circuit the
battery .
– Do not expose the battery to high temperatures .
– Do not continue to use the battery if it leaks or expands .
– Always charge through the system . If the battery is replaced with the wrong type,
there is a risk of explosion .
– Keep the battery away from children and animals .
– Batteries can explode if exposed to an open fire . Never throw batteries into a fire .
– Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations .
– Before disposing of the unit, remove the battery and dispose of it separately .
– Batteries must be fully charged before using the unit for the first time .
– Do not open or damage the battery, short-circuit it, bypass it or use it for any
other purpose .
– Keep the battery away from children, naked flames and liquids and do not
expose it to temperatures exceeding 50°C . In addition, follow the battery care
instructions on page 26 of this manual .
– To charge the battery, disconnect it from the flash . Only use the charger supplied
to charge the battery . To charge the battery, first connect the charger to the
battery to be charged and then to the mains power supply .
