1. Please, read the manual instructions before using the device.
2. Follow all the instructions and signs put on the device.
3. It is not recommended to work with shredder having overhanging clothes(long sleeves, neckties,
scarves etc) or long hair. For safety purposes working with shredder, keep long clothes and hair
away from device and take off all decoration pieces that may get into receiving chute. In case of
getting some clothes into shredder, turn power off by switcher or pull out the power plug.
4. Do not terminate nails metal items, wet or copying paper, photo films, lamination tape.
5. Look after shredder thoroughly if you use it in places attended by children.
6. Take off power plug if you do not use the device for along time, as well as before servicing and
cleaning.
7. Do not let water (or other liquid) into shedder.
8. working with shredder it is prohibited to:
• Insert into receiving chute a number of sheets larger than indicated on shredder.
(see Fig. 3-1) and in this manual.
• Use shredder during 90 minutes non-stop, make 30-min pauses in between.
• Turn on the device with damaged power wire, after falling it down mechanic damages and other
malfunctions.
• Place shredder on an uneven and unsteady surface.
• Put something over shredder, step on power wire, keep device in places where the wire would
prevent people from free passing.
• Disassemble and repair device by your own.
• Use shredder close to water, explosive and flammable materials
• Work with shredder with wet hands.
9. Terminating CDs, discharge of brittle materials out of receiving chute is possible due to a high
power of the cutting block. This discharge can injure user. To prevent injuries, users are prohibited
to dispose their face closer than 50 cm from receiving chute.
10. As the waste bin gets filled it is needed to be cleaned periodically (see p.6).

1. Do nor work with shredder if you have long hair.
2. Do nor work with shredder if you have overhanging pieces of clothes.
3. Do not put your fingers in the slot of receiving chute.
4. Do not terminate nails, screws and other metalware
5. Do not let water or other liquid inside device.
