CARE FOR YOUR SHAVER
Care for your appliance to ensure a long lasting performance. We recommend you clean
your appliance after each use.
Ensure the appliance is switched off and unplugged from the mains before cleaning.
1.
Open the shaver head by pressing the release button.
2.
Empty out any hair clippings.
3.
Pull the shaver head upwards to remove it from the body.
4.
Rotate the circular button in the centre of the retainer counter clockwise to release the
retainer. Once released, lift it out of the shaver head. Make a note of the correct
orientation of the retainer to make refitting easier.
5.
Carefully brush away any hairs from the cutters.
6.
For a more thorough cleaning, lift out the three cutters.
7.
Wash the shaving head under running water. Allow to dry thoroughly.
8.
Carefully refit the three cutters.
9.
Refit the retainer. Rotate the button clockwise to lock the retainer in place.
10. Once the shaver head is assembled, align the spring hinge with the slot at the back of
the hair pocket and press into place. Close the shaver head.
Note: The individual cutters are designed to be permanently retained in the shave head and
flushed out with water. Do not remove the individual cutters for cleaning.
DETAIL TRIMMER
Lubricate the teeth of the detail trimmer every six months with a drop of sewing machine
oil.
REMOVING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
This appliance contains batteries that are non-replaceable. When the battery is at the end of
its life, the appliance and battery must be properly disposed of at an official recycling point.
We strongly recommend that a professional removes the rechargeable battery. Parts of the
shaver case, and tools have sharp edges and may cause injury if not handled correctly.
The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.
Disconnect the charging adapter before removing the battery.
Be aware of the risk of terminals of the battery-operated appliance or battery being
short circuited by metal objects.
1.
Ensure that the battery is fully discharged. To do this, operate the device until it stops.
2.
Use a small flat screwdriver to pry away the front panel.
3.
Unscrew 2 screws from the front housing.
4.
Pry off the front housing and expose the batteries.
5.
Take out the battery assembly and cut the two wires on the end of the battery.
Used batteries must be removed from the appliance and disposed of at an appropriate
official recycling/collection point.
Do not attempt to operate the device once you have opened it.
