2. IN GENERAL
The TEEPRES
is a device that enables pumps, with a minimum prevalence of 2 bar, to start and stop
®
automatically, with regard to a drop in pressure (opening of the taps) and to the stopping of the flow
through the system (closing of the taps) respectively.
Should the water supply be interrupted for any reason, TEEPRES
stopping the pump, thus protecting it from harmful dry running.
l The TEEPRES
is to be used exclusively for non abrasive clear water without debris and other
®
dirt. In the opposite case, an effective pre-filter with a mesh size should be installed no coar-
ser than 0.2 mm in front of the device.
l It is not recommended to install the unit in wells or in dense enclosures, as strong condensation may
occur. If there is a risk of ice forming due to low ambient temperatures, it is recommended to protect
TEEPRES
and the pump accordingly.
