If you have used your SKI RACK on wet,
especially salted roads, you should rinse
the brackets well with water and dry
them before storing them so that no
corrosion can occur on the metal bars
- although they are made of stainless
steel - and so that all plug connections
function properly.
The plastic of the SKI RACK must not be
stored at more than 60° C, as it can then
deform. For example, direct sunlight in a
closed car etc. must be avoided.
With any plastic, UV radiation promotes
ageing and leads to deterioration of the
mechanical properties. Therefore, the
SKI RACK should be stored in a dark, cool
and dry place when not in use.

The SKI RACK can be completely disas-
sembled and each part easily replaced if
damaged (spare parts are available at info@
cyclite.cc).
Wenn Du Dein SKI RACK bei nassen, insbe-
sondere gesalzenen Straßen benutzt hast,
solltest Du die Bügel vor der Lagerung gut
mit Wasser abspülen und trocknen, damit
an den Metall-Stangen - obwohl sie aus
Edelstahl gefertigt sind - keine Korrosion
entstehen kann und alle Steckverbindun-
gen einwandfrei funktionieren.
Der Kunststoff des SKI RACKs darf nicht bei
mehr als 60° C gelagert werden, da er sich
dann verformen kann. So ist z.B. direkte
Sonneneinstrahlung im geschlossenen
Auto u.ä. zu vermeiden.
Bei jedem Kunststoff befördert UV-Strah-
lung die Alterung und führt zur Verschlech-
terung der mechanischen Eigenschaften.
