● Make sure that there is no risk of tripping over it, or it being
damaged or put under strain. This reduces the risk of injury
caused by tripping or falling, and damage to the cord or
electric shock.
● Protect the charger and power cord from excessive heat –
risk of damaging the casing and internal parts.
● Do not use petrol, solvents or detergents that can damage
the plastic parts.
● Do not use a damp cloth or detergent on the product. The
product must only be cleaned with a dry, soft cloth.
● Do not use an extension cord unless absolutely necessary.
Unsuitable extension cords can risk causing a fire and/or
electric shock. If an extension lead must be used, check
that:
• The plug on the extension cord is the same size and
shape, and has the same number of pins as the plug on
the product.
• The wires in the extension cord are correctly connected
and in good condition.
• The cross-sectional wire area is sufficient for the power
supply to the product.
● Do not use the product if the power cord or plug are
damaged – risk of electric shock. A damaged cord or plug
must be replaced by an authorised service centre or
qualified person to ensure safe use.
