PUMP FED SYSTEM
Placing the filter system
• The filter should be 20 cm higher than the bio chamber (top of edge see picture 3)
• Install a T-piece at the outlets to prevent air pressure build up and for a steady water out flow
Schematic setup
• For Pump fed setup you can use a water pump to push water from the pond/skimmer into the drum filter. From the drum filter the water will flow back in gravity to the bio chamber. The
drum filter unit must be 20cm above this unit.
• For Pump fed setup, close all the bottom outlets and use the high placed outlets. Do not use the bottom outlets as the water level would be too low inside the clean water chamber! This
will put too much pressure/weight on the screen (picture 4).
