5. Information for qualified electricians
5.1 Fitting and electrical connection
DANGER
Electric shock in case of accidental contact
with live parts.
Electric shocks can be fatal.
Disconnect the mains supply before con-
necting the device.
Selecting the place of installation
The detector has a detecting range of 360° (Fig. 2).
The diameter of the detecting range depends on the
fitting height and the direction of movement. For a
fitting height of 3 m, the maximum diameter of the
detecting range on the floor is approx. 12...20 m
(Fig. 3).
Select a suitable place of installation.
Observe the direction of movement (Fig. 3).
The detector distinguishes between direct ap-
proaches (Fig. 3A) and tangential movements
(Fig. 3B). Tangential movements are easier to
detect than direct movements towards the detector.

5.1 Montage en elektrische aansluiting

Elektrische schok bij aanraking van span-
ningvoerende delen.
Een elektrische schok kan dodelijke gevol-
gen hebben.
Voorafgaand aan installatie eerst netspan-
ning afschakelen.
Montagepositie kiezen
De detector heeft een detectiebereik van 360°(afbeel-
ding 2). De diameter van het detectiegebied is afhan-
kelijk van de montagehoogte en de bewegingsrichting.
Bij een montagehoogte van 3 m bedraagt de maximale
diameter op de vloer ca. 12...20 m (afbeelding 3).
Geschikte montagepositie kiezen.
Op bewegingsrichting (afbeelding 3) letten.
Er worden twee bewegingsrichtingen onderschei-
den: recht op de detector af (afbeelding 3A) en
dwars op de detector (afbeelding 3B). Bewegingen
dwars op de detector zijn beter waarneembaar dan
bewegingen recht op de detector af. Om die reden
