Safety
Warning: Never connect other light fixtures to the included downlight set or its driver unit.
Note:
• You may mount the downlights and connect the light leads to the terminal block
yourself. However, connecting to the 230 V mains must only be carried out by
a qualified electrician.
• If you are at all unsure about any phase of the installation, consult a qualified
electrician to perform the job.
• The mains lead/power switch must be connected to the primary side (230 V side) of
the driver unit.
• Any possible repairs should also only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
• Number of connected lights: 3–6.
• The lights must be connected in series using the included terminal block to ensure
correct connection.
Mounting
Note:
The terminal block has a 6-light capacity. If you are only connecting 3 light fixtures you
must also have the 3 included jumpers connected on the terminal block for the lamps
to work. If 4 fixtures are to be connected, then 2 jumpers must be used. If 5 fixtures are
used 1 jumper must be used.
Note: Make sure that the fixture is disconnected from the 230 V mains before starting work.

Surface mounted with surface mounted cables
Pre-plan your cable routing and placement of your downlights, driver unit and terminal block.
1. Carefully push the light from its
mounting bracket.
3. Thread the light's cable from
the underside of mounting bracket
and through the bracket's cutout.
Then tighten the mounting bracket
securely against the mounting
surface.
5. Remove the corresponding jumper from the terminal block and connect the light's
cable leads.

Surface mounted with hidden cables
Pre-plan your cable routing and placement of your downlights, driver unit and terminal
block.

1. Drill (8 mm) holes for the cables.

3. Screw the mounting bracket so that
it covers the hole.
2. Screw the mounting bracket onto
the surface but do not tighten it
completely.
5. Remove the corresponding jumper from the terminal block and connect the light's
cable leads.
Flush mounting
Pre-plan your cable routing and placement of your downlights, driver unit and terminal
block.
4. Continue to feed the cable through
the cutout and finally push the light
into the mounting bracket.
1. Carefully push the light from its
mounting bracket and place
the bracket aside as it will not be
used for this type of mounting.
3. Feed the light's cable through the hole
and press the downlight securely into
the drilled mounting hole.
2. Carefully push the light from its
mounting bracket.
4. Thread the light cable from
the underside of mounting bracket
and through the hole and finally push
the light into the mounting bracket.

2. Drill (Ø 25 mm) holes where you wish
to place your downlights.
4. Remove the corresponding jumper
from the terminal block and connect
the light's cable leads.
