• Do not store any magnetic storage media such as floppy disks, video tapes etc. in
the proximity of the loudspeakers, as the magnetic field from the loudspeakers may
corrupt the information stored on the storage media.
• Do not expose the speaker to high temperatures, strong vibrations or heavy me-
chanical loads.
• Do not leave packaging materials unattended. It may become a dangerous plaything
for children.
• You should also heed to the additional safety instructions in each chapter of this

Installation/setup
W hen setting up or mounting the loudspeakers make sure they are placed securely
and on a stable mounting surface or ensure a stable and firm installation of the mount-
ing brackets.
S erious injury to persons can be caused if the loudspeakers fall down.
D o not place the loudspeakers in the direct vicinity of TVs or computer monitors. The
magnetic fields generated by the loudspeakers may distort the image.
To achieve the best possible sound, try to realise the following suggestions for positioning in the
listening room as far as your possibilities allow.
Experiment with your positioning possibilities and also with the alignment of your loud-
speakers a little before final installation/positioning to determine the best location in
your listening room.
Positioning
• Position the loudspeakers in a way that the place of listening is possibly at the same distance to
the two speakers (equilateral triangle).
• In rectangular rooms, the loudspeakers should be set up along the short wall, if possible.
• The tweeters should be approximately at the height of your ears.
Assembly
• Use the holding brackets as template for marking the drilling holes.
• Drill the installation holes and insert suitable wall plugs, if necessary. Make sure that no cables
or the like are damaged beneath the mounting area by drilling.
• Screw the holding angles tightly to the mounting surface. The mounting material has to be suit-
able for the mounting surface and capable of sustaining the weight of the loudspeakers.
• Attach the loudspeakers to the brackets using the screws provided; align them as desired and
tighten the screws.
Audio connection
W hen connecting the loudspeakers, make sure that the connecting cables are not
pinched or damaged by sharp edges.
T he loudspeakers may only be connected to suitable loudspeaker outputs of audio de-
vices.
M ake sure the impedance and power rating indicated in the technical data comply with
the data for the amplifier. Otherwise, the speakers or the amplifier may be damaged.
T he device to which the loudspeakers are to be connected has to be switched off
during the connection process.
• Connect the left loudspeaker outputs of your audio amplifier with the left loudspeaker and the
right loudspeaker outputs with the right loudspeaker.
• Connect the negative loudspeaker connector of the audio amplifier with the connection clamp
labelled with "-" of the respective loudspeaker.
• Connect the positive loudspeaker connector of the audio amplifier with the connection clamp
labelled with "4" or "8" of the respective loudspeaker.
The loudspeakers have an impedance of 4 ohms or 8 ohms depending on the connec-
tion clamp used. Please refer to the documentation of your audio amplifier to find out
for what loudspeaker impedance it is suitable.
Maintenance and cleaning
The loudspeakers are maintenance-free.
Please use a soft, dry, clean cloth for cleaning.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as the housing's surfaces or the
membrane could be damaged.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable material and must not be disposed of in the house-
hold waste!
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
