The main menu
The main menu contains two rows of buttons and one or two sliders, depending on if you own a
Compact 6 HD or 6 HD Speech. To activate a button, tap the button once. To adjust the slider, tap
and hold the slider button while moving it to the right or left. Activating a button will open a new
menu screen or list. To go back to the main menu, tap on the back arrow sign.
The main menu contains the following options:
 Battery status
 Brightness slider
 Save
 Open
 Voice (Compact 6 HD Speech only)
 Voice Rate slider (Compact 6 HD Speech only)
 Settings

Battery status

The battery status is shown in the top right corner of the screen. If you tap the battery icon, a new
screen will be opened showing a magnified battery icon and battery status, the "About" button and
the "Back arrow" to return to the main menu. The lightning symbol indicates that the battery is
charging.
