If you want to keep your TM3 up to date, periodic maintenance of the sys-
tem software is neccessary, because you only will fi nd options and licen-
ces that were already available at the release date of the software version
installed on the unit. Firmware updates (and Devicer DC 1 confi guration
software, too) are available at the member area of RTW's web site or from
your sales partner.
NOTE - If using Devicer DC 1 confi guration software, please
make sure, that Devicer software and TM3 fi rmware both are up-to-date.
If necessary, please also proceed a Devicer update beside the fi rmware
update. Then restart TM3 twice.
The fi rmware update couldn't be simpler to operate: The TM3 is connec-
ted to a computer just like an USB drive. the update fi le will directly be
stored on the TM3. After the correct unmounting form the computer sys-
tem, TM3 only needs to be restarted twice.
In the following paragraphs the update is described in detail for the ope-
rating systems Windows® and Mac OS X®.
