Pour obtenir un son aussi parfait que possible, il est recommandé – dans la limite
des possibilités liées à la configuration du local – de respecter les conseils de posi-
tionnement suivants
:• Placer le sub-woofer de sorte qu'il se trouve entre les deux haut-parleurs satellites
(et si possible dans le même alignement).
• Dans une pièce rectangulaire, disposer de préférence les haut-parleurs le long de
l'un des côtés courts.
• Dans la mesure du possible, le sub-woofer doit être écarté des murs (à environ 50
cm de chaque mur).
Il est possible de tester différentes configurations et orientations des haut-parleurs
afin de déterminer le positionnement qui garantira le meilleur résultat pour la pièce
considérée.

Regularly check that the subwoofer is technically safe, e.g. check for damage to the
power cord (9) and housing.
If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the appliance must be
taken out of use and secured from being accidentally switched on. Withdraw the
mains plug!
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
• there is visible damage to the appliance
• the appliance is no longer working
• after prolonged storage under unfavourable conditions, or
• the appliance has been exposed to severe stresses during transport
Before cleaning or maintaining the subwoofer, it is crucial to observe the fol-
lowing safety instructions:
Opening covers or removing parts may expose live parts.
The appliance must therefore be isolated from any power source
before maintenance or repair.
Capacitors inside the appliance may still carry a charge, even
after it has been isolated from any power source.
Never replace a defective power cord yourself. Isolate the appli-
ance from the mains supply and take it to a specialist repairer.
The appliance must only be repaired by a qualified technician
familiar with the risks involved and the relevant regulations.
If the fuse has to be replaced, make sure that only fuses of the stated type and rat-
ing (see Technical data) are used as a replacement.
Rewiring of fuses or shorting the fuseholder are prohibited.
