Safety information for
goggles
• The lenses and frames of these safety
goggles are not unbreakable.
10
• Use these safety goggles only to pro-
tect the eyes from moderate impacts, as
well as flying particles.
• Handle the product with care. Shocks,
blows or even falling from a low height
can damage the product.
• Check the safety goggles regularly for
damage. Coatings and scratches on
the lenses restrict vision and thus no
longer ensure complete protection.
• No parts of these goggles are replace-
able or interchangeable. If any part of
the goggles is found to be unusable,
the entire product should be discarded.
• The lenses of optical class 3 are not in-
tended for long-term use.
• Under certain circumstances, people
with extremely sensitive skin may suffer
from allergies caused by the material
coming into contact with the skin. If this
is the case, take off the goggles imme-
diately and get medical help.
• Safety goggles worn over corrective
glasses can pose a hazard by transmit-
ting shocks.
• Clear goggles offer no protection
against glare from the sun.
• These safety goggles do not protect
against: high impact / laser radiation /
infectious matter / explosives / molten
metal / chemical splashes / welding
radiation etc. If any of these hazards
apply, additional suitable protective
equipment must be used.
• If S, F, B and A symbols on lenses and
frames are not the same, the lower of
the symbols must be adopted as the
factor for the total eye protection. The
letter T immediately after the strength
symbol allows use with high-energy
particles at extremely high temperat-
ures. If the T designation is missing,
room temperature is assumed.
