INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR MY SUN WIND
AND SUN SENSOR
FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF OTHERS, IT IS
IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW AND PAY
SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THE WARNINGS.

It is important for the safety of persons to follow these instructions. Keep this user manual for future
reference.
•
This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and or knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product by a person responsible for
their safety.
•
Do not allow children to play with the fixed controls. Keep remote controls out of the reach of
children.
•
Examine the installation frequently for signs of imbalance, wear and tear or damage to cables.
Do not use the installation if it requires repair.
•
Be especially careful when opening or closing the awning, as a fall may occur due to a broken
mechanism.
•
Read and follow these instructions carefully. Incorrect installation may result in personal injury
or damage. Smartsun is not responsible for any damage related to incorrect use or non-
compliance with the instructions.
•
Before installing the sensor or performing any operation on the power supply, make sure that
the power is switched off.
•
Before connecting the sensor to a power supply, check that the voltage of that power supply
and the rated voltage correspond to those specified in the technical data.
•
Never place the wind and sun sensor in places exposed to high temperatures such as walls
near furnaces (up to 50°).
•
This product bears the symbol for the sorting and separate collection of waste electrical and
electronic equipment (WEEE). This means that, during the processing and dismantling of such
a product, the requirements of the European Directive 2012/19/EU must be complied with in
order to reduce the negative impact it may have on the environment.
