NOTE: To remove the engraver block (BG), just unscrew the set screw (T1) and
pull the engraver block (BG) towards the user of the machine.
IMPORTANT: The engraver block (BG) can be left installed on the machine, as
it does not have to be removed for key cutting or reading.
5.- SETTINGS
5.1 ADJUSTING THE CUTTER POSITION
To set the exact position of the clamp grips with respect to the cutter, the RM
tracer is used.
This adjustment must be made when the clamp or grips are changed in the
machine.
Follow the steps below:
1) Insert the RM tracer up to the internal stop in the cutter-holder
(T6).
2) Lock the RM tracer using the cutter clamping lever.
3) Clamp the RPC setting plate at the rear of the clamp.
4) Go to menu: SettingsИSelect AdjustmentИ Security
5) Select the clamp or grip mounted on the machine and press
button Adjust cutter.
5.2 ADJUSTING THE TRACER POSITION
To set the exact position of the clamp grips with respect to the tracer, the 1P
tracer is used.
The 1P tracer is the same tracer used for cutting the dimple or sidewinder keys.
This adjustment must be made when the clamp or grips are changed in the
machine.
Follow the steps below:
1) Pull the knob (T8) and lower it to its lowest position. Release
the knob (T8) in that position.
2) Clamp the RPC setting plate at the rear of the clamp.
3) Go to menu: SettingsИSelect AdjustmentИSecurity
4) Select the clamp or grip mounted on the machine and press
button Adjust tracer.
5) Once the adjustment is complete, pull knob (T8) and place it in
its highest position.

6.- SWARF
6.1 SWARF CLEANING
Most swarf generated during key cutting falls into the swarf tray.
To remove the swarf that is collected on the swarf tray, proceed as follows:
1) With the help of a brush, remove the swarf from the clamp
and carriage so that it falls on the swarf tray.
