PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Electrical Storm charger has been developed to charge only NiCd/NiMH R/C
battery packs of 6-7 cells.
• Automatic fast charge with a charging current of 3000mA with -delta V control.
This charger can only be connected to a 12V DC supply (12 V DC motor vehicle
batteries or regulated power supply)
FAST CHARGE with 3A
1. Connect the output plug of the charger to the socket of the battery pack and the
charger a 12V DC supply. Make sure the LED „EINGANG" and the "LADEN"
lights. If the charger is connected to a 12V DC source and there is no battery
connected, the "EINGANG" and the "AKKU VOLL" LED`s light.
2. After termination of the fast charging process the „LADEN" LED refuses to light
and the LED „AKKU VOLL" lights. The charger switches over automatically to
trickle charge. The battery pack can be left attached to the charger for several
hours without any damage. To terminate charging disconnect the charger from
the mains and remove the battery pack from the charger.
The charging time can be determined according to the following formula:
Chargetime (h) = battery capacity (mAh) x 1.2 battery capacity (mAh) x 1.2 ex.: 1900mAh x 1.2 = 0.75 h

DESCRIPTION
Le Chargeur ECO 7 est destiné à la charge rapide des accus NiCd/NiMH de 6-7
éléments
• Charge rapide automatique avec une tension de charge de 3A avec -∆V con-
trôle et Timer de sécurité.
Ce chargeur doit être alimenté en 12 V (batterie de voiture ou secteur en passant
par une alimentation stabilisée).
UTILISATION
Branchez la sortie du chargeur à la prise de l'accu grâce à la fi che (équipée

d'un détrompeur) et brancher le chargeur à une alimentation 12V. Vérifi ez
si les LEDs - verte pour „Eingang" (témoin d'alimentation) et rouge „Laden"
(témoin de charge) sont allumées. Si le chargeur est alimenté, mais qu'aucun
accu n'est branché au chargeur la LED verte (témoin d'alimentation) est allu-
mée, ainsi que la LED jaune « Accu voll » (accu chargé).
2. En fi n de charge, la LED rouge (témoin de charge) se coupe, et la LED jaune
„Akku voll" (accu chargé) s'allume. La charge rapide passe automatiquement
en mode de charge normale. L'accu peut resté branché plusieurs heures sur
le chargeur sans problèmes. Pour interrompre la charge, débranchez d'abord
l'alimentation du chargeur, puis l'accu.
Le temps de charge se calcule selon la formule suivante :

PROTECTION
- The output has a short-circuit and overcharging protection. A 15A melting fuse
is integrated in the charger.The safety timer terminates the fast charge if no delta
peak is detected.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
! Read operation instructions carefully before use.
! Do not expose the battery charger to rain or damp conditions.
! If no longer used, disconnect the battery from the charger and the charger from the mains.
! Do not charge hot batteries. Batteries must be cooled down to the surrounding
temperature.
! Only charge fast chargeable batteries! !
! Charging is only allowed after a previous discharge.
! Do not leave the charger unattended during operation.
! Immediately disconnect the battery from the charger if excessive heating occurs)
Explosion and chemical danger! At a cell temperature of more than 45° the batte-
ry must be considered 100% charged. Charge only cool batteries.
! Charge only NiCd / NiMH acid batteries. (No LiION or lead batteries or primary
cells Explosion and chemical danger!)
! Only connect the battery charger to voltage sources suitable for it. (12 V DC motor
vehicle batteries).
!Do not open equipment or carry out changes. Authorized specialist staff only may
carry out repairs.
! Do not cover equipment or obstruct ventilation, otherwise it may over-heat. Do not
expose to direct sunlight.
! Do not charge more than one battery pack simultaneously.
! Charge only cells of the same type and capacity as a battery pack.
! Keep batteries, battery charger and cables away of combustible materials.
! Avoid sparking as there maybe gases present from the batteries.
! Never place the charger inside the engine compartment. Keep leads away
from moving parts.

La sortie est protégée contre les courts-circuits et les surcharges.
Dans la fi che d'alimentation de la voiture il y a un fusible de 15 A, et dans le char-
geur un fusible plat de 15 A est intégré. Un Timer de sécurité met un terme à la
charge rapide si aucun -∆V n'est détecté.
CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
! Lire attentivement la notice avant utilisation
! Mettre le chargeur à l'abri de la pluie et de l'humidité.
! En cas de non utilisation débrancher le chargeur de son alimentation ainsi que
l'accu.
! Ne jamais charger un accu chaud. Le laisser refroidir jusqu'à température ambi-
ante.
! Ne charger que des packs d'accu capables d'absorber une charge rapide.
! Ne jamais faire plusieurs charge d'affi lée sans avoir décharger l'accu aupara-
vant.
! En charge, ne jamais laisser le chargeur sans surveillance.
! En cas de surcharge de l'accu (se traduit par une surchauffe de l'accu), débran-
cher immédiatement l'accu du chargeur. Danger d'explosion!
Si l'accu atteint une température de plus de 45°, on peut le considéré comme char-
gé à 100%. Ne charger les accus que lorsqu'ils ont refroidis.
! Ne charger que des accus NiCd/NiMH (pas de Li-Ion, LiPo ou accus au plomb).
! Ne brancher le chargeur que sur une alimentation adéquate (12V DC)
! Ne pas ouvrir le chargeur ou faire des modifi cations. Les réparations doivent être
faites par un personnel qualifi é.
! Ne jamais couvrir le chargeur. Veillez à ce qu'il soit suffi samment refroidi..
! Ne jamais charger plusieurs packs à la fois.
! Ne charger des packs constitués d'éléments de même nature et de capacité
identique
! Ne pas laisser l'accu, le chargeur et les cordons à proximité d'éléments infl am-
mables
