Hook-up to Single-Phase AC Power Line
The
Dual
CV 60 HiFi stereo amplifier
can be operated fróm 50 or 60 c/s AC
and 110, 117, 220 and 240 Volt. Unit is
shipped from the factory set for 220 V
operation,
Before connecting the unit make certain
you know what voltage you have.
The unit is adapted for other voltages by
re-soldering jumpers at the power trans-
former, If conversion is carried out, the
voltage stated on the data plate should
be corrected at the same time using the
enclosed plates, Please note that different
fuses should be used according to the
voltage supply.

The fuse holder is mounted on the power
transformer junction
board. The 1.0 A
slow-blow fuse necessary for 110 and
117 V is included with the unit. The
vent grill must be removed
to change
voltage or fuse, Caution — first discon-
nect power cord! Re-soldering of jum-
pers at the power transformer and chan-
ging fuses should only be done by a com-
petent service man. No special precaut-
ions are necessary for 50 or 60 c/s opera-
tion,
Before plugging in the amplifier for the
first time, first connect the loudspeaker
and signal sources, e. g. record player,
tape recorder etc.
Electronic Overload Protection
To protect the amplifier output stages,
the set is fitted with an electronic cur-
rent limiter and a thermal overload pro-
tection,
The electronic current limiter becomes
effective in the event of short circuit or
incorrect
matching at the speaker out-
put, e. g. when using unsuitable speakers.
The current in the output stages is then
reduced.
