These operating instructions are intended to assist you in the correct and safe use of the appliance. We recommend
that you read the manual carefully to familiarise yourself with all the functions of the appliance. Please read the safety
instructions carefully before using the appliance and keep the instructions for future reference.

person who is not familiar with these instructions must not install, switch on, adjust or operate the appliance.
ESSENTIAL SAFETY MEASURES
The appliance may be used by children aged eight years and over and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge provided they are supervised or instructed in its safe use
and are aware of the risks involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must
not be carried out by children without supervision.
Do not shield the product to prevent overheating.
Children under 3 years of age should be kept away from the appliance unless they are under constant supervision.
Children between the ages of 3 and 8 years may switch the appliance on/off provided it has been set up or
installed in the intended position and provided supervision or instruction is provided on the safe use of the
appliance and possible hazards. Children between 3 and 8 years of age must not connect the appliance to a
power source, adjust or clean the appliance or carry out maintenance.
CAUTION - some parts of the appliance can become very hot and cause burns. Special care should be taken when
children and vulnerable persons are present.
INTRODUCTION
Depending on the type of power cable, the fan heater can be used in the home, warehouses and workshops, building
facilities or greenhouses. The unit is equipped with a thermostat and a self-resetting thermal switch to control the
heating elements. The thermostat checks the air temperature and controls the ambient temperature. The fan motor
is not controlled by the thermostat and continues to operate when the thermostat switches off the heating element. A
self-resetting thermal switch will shut down the heater to ensure safety in the event of overheating.
You may experience slight smoke emissions during the initial start-up of the heater. This is a normal phenomenon
which passes after a short time. The heating element is made of stainless steel and was coated with protective oil
during manufacture. The smoke is caused by the heating of residual oil.
