Quick start instructions,
DoD 1.0
diagnostics on demand service
1. Fill in the service request including
SEPA direct debit mandate, sign it
together with the General Terms and
Conditions, and email it to
sales.de@herthundbuss.com or post it
to the following address.

2. Download and install the Herth+Buss
diagnostics on demand app in the
Google PlayStore. A list of compatible
devices can be found at:
herthundbuss.com/en/diagnosis/
3. Connect the OBD connector on the de-
vice to the OBD socket on the vehicle.
4. Connect the USB connector to the An-
droid smartphone/tablet.
App opens automatically.
5. Switch on the ignition and tap "Done" in
the app.

6. Select the vehicle manufacturer, model
and type
and click on "Next" .

Optionally enter reference (vehicle reg-
istration number or customer number of
the workshop customer) or skip this step.
8. Select the desired function, scroll down
if necessary and click on "Next".
9. Confirm the selected function incl. price
indication by clicking on "Next" again.
10. Check the summary, correct it if neces-
sary by tapping the "Change" button or
send the service request to the Herth and
Buss DoD service team by tapping one of
the "Start" buttons.
11. Wait for the operator. The request will
be accepted and processed as soon as
possible.
12. After acceptance by an H+B technician,
wait for further instructions via the chat
function. You also have the option of
communicating with the technician here.
13. After successful completion the order is
acknowledged with the following image.
Please then switch off the ignition and
disconnect the device from the OBD
socket.
