Operating with Different Head Units

Operate this unit (for DAB reception) with the connected Head Unit.
Instructions in this Operation Manual use the "DEH-P9100R" and "AVM-P9000R" as
example Head Units.
When using this unit with the "DEH-P9100R", follow instructions from page 6.
When using this unit with the "AVM-P9000R", follow instructions from page 27.
Note:
• Head Unit Group 2 Head Units operate this unit as an external unit (External). These Head Units
can control only one external unit, which also corresponds to this unit. When one of these Head
Units is connected to this unit, do not connect any other external units.
Head Unit Group 1
When using the unit with one of these Head Units, operation is the same as with the
"DEH-P9100R" or "AVM-P9000R", so follow instruction from page 7.
