- Make holes in the number plate holder. One hole as a cable feedthrough and two holes for the came-
ra mount.
- Put the camera connection cable through the (supplied) rubber grommet. The rubber grommet pro-
tects the cable from sharp edges and damage.
- Affix the rubber grommet to the hole for the cable to be fed through.
- Pass the cable through the cable feedthrough.
- Install the camera mount, including the camera, at the installation location using suitable mounting
material. Make sure that no cables are squeezed, squashed or otherwise damaged.
- Adjust the camera to the desired position.
- Tighten the fixing screws of the camera mount to make sure the camera is firmly installed.

7.2 Monitor Installation

- Put the lead nut of the monitor mount into the mounting spot at the back of the monitor.
- Tighten the attachment nut to make sure the monitor is attached firmly to the mount.
- Attach the monitor mount to the windscreen of your vehicle. To do so pull the lever on the suction cup
towards the monitor. Place the suction cup on a smooth, clean and grease-free surface (you may
need to wet the membrane slightly).
- Adjust the position of the monitor as desired.
- Tighten the two attachment screws for horizontal and vertical alignment.
Make sure that the monitor does not obscure the driver's vision.
Also take care to ensure that the monitor is not placed within the safety clearance
area of airbags.
Do not place the monitor on its fold-down stand during driving as this could lead to
serious injury to occupants of the vehicle in the case of an accident.
In the vehicle you should only use the suction cup for attachment.

8. Electrical Connection

The electrical connection should always be done by a specialist.
To avoid shorts and any resulting damage to the device, the negative terminal (earth)
of the car battery has to be disconnected first.
Only connect the negative pole of the battery, when you have completely connected
the system and checked the connections. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's instruc-
tions to ensure that any data saved in the vehicle is not lost.
You should only use a voltmeter or a diode test lamp for checking the voltage on the
on-board cables as normal test lamps consume excessive currents and can thus
damage the electronic system of the car.
When laying the cables, make sure that they are not squeezed or scoured on sharp
edges. Use rubber grommets for the feed-though points.
