1.
Connect MP20 (V310 pin 23) via a resistor of 180 kohms to
ground.
2.
Connect the frequency counter via a resistor of 100 kohms to
MP19 (V310 Pin 24) and use R305 to adjust a pilot frequency of
19 kHz + 50 Hz.
Use the dummy antenna (8 627 105 356).

1.
Adjust the signal generator to 98.2 MHz and adjust an output
level of E'= 60 dBuV (observe the attenuation of the dummy
antenna).
Modulate the signal generator with a stereo signal of the stereo
encoder (1 KHz AF / 22.5 kHz deviation / 7.5 kHz pilot
deviation).

Tune the set to 98.2 MHz ( station preset button FM1 ).

Set the stereo encoder to R.
Connect the AF millivoltmeter to the R loudspeaker output (The
speaker output must be terminated with 4 ohms).
Adjust the volume to 2.8 volts rms at the output. Read and keep
in mind the respective dB value.

Then set the stereo encoder to L and use R 313 to adjust the
right channel output to minimum in order to obtain the maximum
stereo channel separation (2 33 dB).

Adjust the signal generator an output level of E'= 43 dBuV
(observe the attenuation of the dummy antenna). Modulate the
signal generator with a stereo signal of the stereo encoder (1
kHz AF / 22.5 kHz deviation / 7.5 kHz pilot deviation).

Set the stereo encoder to R.
Connect the AF millivoltmeter to the R loudspeaker output. The
speaker output must be terminated with 4 ohms.
Adjust the volume to 2.8 volts rms at the output. Read and keep
in mind the respective dB value.
7.
Then set the stereo encoder to L and use R 364 to adjust the
right channel output to - 20 dB.
( \f a separation of 20 dB is not adjustable,
the r-f level of
E'= 43 dBuV has to be altered within its tolerances of +4 dBuV.
