4. Operation
NOTE: Slight difference might be found on the interfaces of different models. Following figures
are for reference only. The actual product shall prevail.
4.1 Booting up
CAUTION: Before the boot up, please make sure:
• The rated input voltage shall match with the device power requirement.
• For device security, connect the device to the power adapter first and then connect it to the
power mains socket.
• Some devices do not have the power on-off button. The device will boot up once the power
is connected.
Follow the steps listed below to boot up the device:
1. Connect the device to the monitor and connect a mouse to the NVR.
2. Connect to power supply.
3. Click the power button to boot the device (if available). After booting up, the system is
multiple-channel display mode by default.
4.2 Initializing the Device
When booting up for the first time, you need to configure the password information for admin.
To guarantee device security, modify passwords regularly.
