 NOTE: Steps 3 and 4 are optional and can only be carried out with the specified
license plate holder. If your vehicle has a different license plate holder, the
crossbar (10) is simply fastened between the side carriers (7) and (8) using a
Quick-release fastener (9). In this case, no screws are necessary.
Connect the side carriers (7) and (8) to the fastening straps (1), (2) and (3) and
crossbar (10) using the Quick-release fastener (9). Secure the quick-release
fasteners using the lock washers. Make sure to position the spacers (11)
between the license plate holder and the crossbar (10).
Using a pointed object (eg. a screwdriver), mark the drilling positions on the
inside of the license plate holder; use the spacers (11) as a guide.
Remove the side carriers (7) and (8) together with the crossbar (10) and
spacers (11) from the vehicle.
 WARNING: Risk of injury!
Using a 6.5mm bit, drill the mounting holes from the inside of the license
plate holder; deburr the edges of the holes.
