2.9.2 Mounting the Positioner
Put positioner with feedback pin and spring on mounting kit.
Tighten the three threaded pins in the fastening ring.
Connect output "Y1" with valve actuator.
Take care that this connection is sealed properly, as otherwise the solenoid
valves in the positioner will operate permanently.
Connect supply air (port „P").
Open positioner cover and provide the electrical connections.
Carry through positioner adjustment.
Close positioner cover.
Dismount the positioner correspondingly in reverse order.

Mounting instructions for part-turn actuators
The digital positioner used for part-turn actuators has been designed so that it can be installed
on part-turn actuators using a mounting kit meeting VDI/VDE 3835.

For double-acting actuators:
1. Move valve into the "closed" position.
2. Turn coupling (1) until the angle indicator
(2) points to 0° .
For single-acting actuators with "spring closing":
1. Actuator must not be under pressure from
compressed air.
2. Turn coupling (1) until the angle indicator
(2) points to 0° .
For single-acting actuators with "spring opening":
1. Actuator must not be under pressure from
compressed air.
2. Turn coupling (1) until the angle indicator
(2) points to 90° .
