Modes
Put a TV type torque dial onto the hub of a reel support
and slowly rotate the torque dial in the same direction as
the reel support's rotation until the pointer's motion be-
comes stabilized, it is normal in each mode if the value is as
follows: (Fig. 17)
In Play mode: 30 to 60 g-cm
In Fast Forward mode: more than 70 g-cm
In Rewind mode: more than 70 g-cm
Pressure Adjustment of Pinch Roller
In Play mode, use a tension gauge to push a part of the
pinch roller until the pinch roller begins to be gradually
apart from the capstan-shaft and then it stops to rotate: the
value then on the gauge must be 275 ~375g. (Fig. 18)

Adjustment of capstan shaft thrust clearance adjustment.
1. Slowly rotate clockwise the screw adjusting the capstan's
thrust-clearance until .there is no clearance found.
2. Next rotate counterclockwise the said screw by 1/8 to
3/8 turns from the above point. Since screw's pitch is
_0.8 mm, a-clearance of 0.1 to 0.3 mm is thus produced.

Einstellung des Drehmoments fiir Wiedergabe, Schnellvor-
lauf und Riickspulen

Eine Drehmomentscheibe vom TG-Typ auf die Spulenachse
stecken; und die Drehmomentscheibe langsam in die Lauf-
richtung der Achse drehen, bis die Zeigerbewegung kons-
tant wird. Es gelten folgende Richtwerte: (Siehe Abb. 17)
Bei der Wiedergabe: 30 ~ 60 g-cm
Beim Schnellvorlauf: 70 g-cm
Beim Riickspulen: 70 g-cm
_ Einstellung der Andruckrolle
Einen Teil der Andruckrolle mit einem Spannungsmesser
wahrend der Wiedergabe driicken, bis sie sich langsam von
der Bandantriebswelle lést und sich zu drehen aufh6rt. Der
Wert am Spannungsmesser muf dann 275 ~375g betragen.

1. Drehen Sie die Einstellschraube mittels eines Schrauben-
zichers langsam im Uhrzeigersinn, so dafi kein Freispiel
mehr verbleibt.

2. Als nachsten
Schritt, drehen
Sie die obengenannte
Schraube um 1/8 bis 3/8 Drehung vom obengenannten
- Punkt an, entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn. Da der Steigungs-
-abstand der Einstellschraube 0,8 mm betragt, wird das
_ Freispiel zwischen 0,1 bis 0,3 mm betragen.
