Cautions on Disassembly
Follow the below-mentioned notes when disassembling the
unit and reassembling
it, to keep its safety and excellent
performance:
1. Remove the power supply plug from the wall outlet before
starting to disassemble the unit.
2. Take off nylon bands or wire holders where they need be
removed when disassembling the unit. After servicing the
unit, be sure to rearange the leads where there were before
disassembling.
. Use sufficient care on static electricity of integrated circuits
and other circuits when servicing.
{(A| REMOVAL
OF CABINET
1. Remove five screws from the cabinet (two at the right, two at
the left and one at the back), and hold up the cabinet to detach
it giving a force to its lower part. See Fig. 5—1.
[B] REMOVAL
OF BOTTOM
PLATE
1. Turn the unit over, remove 11 screws from the bottom plate
and shift the bottom plate backwards to detach it. See Fig.
5-2.

PANEL
1. Remove the cabinet and bottom plate following the same
procedures
as in "[A] REMOVAL
OF CABINET"
AND
"[B]
REMOVAL OF BOTTOM PLATE."
2. Remove two pieces of nylon band shown in Fig. 5—3.
3. Remove
five screws from the front panel (three at the
right and two at the left), and puil the panel frontwards,
See Fig. 5—3.
4, Remove one screw from the headphones PWB and take the
PWB off. See Fig. 5—4.
5, Remove
four screws
from the switch PWB
and take the
PWB off, See Fig. 5—4.
6. Remove three screws from the graphic equalizer PWB and.
take the PWB off. See Fig. 5-4,
(D] REMOVAL
OF
INDIVIDUAL
PWBs

Individual PWBs do not need to be removed completely but to
the extent that their mounted parts can be replaced. First of all,
remove the cabinet and bottom plate, and then detach nylon
bands, wire holders, etc. upon necessity.
1. Antenna Socket PWB
(1) Remove the antenna cover by pushing up its lower central
part. See Fig. 5-1,
(2) Remove two screws from the antenna socket board and
take it off. See Fig. 5—5,
2. Preamplifier PWB
{1) Remove six screws from the terminal board socket. See
Fig. 5—5.
(2) Remove two screws from the terminal board bracket and
detach the preamplifier PWB bending the terminal board
backwards. See Fig. 5-5.
VOLTAGE SELECTOR ADJUSTMENT
