Transport and installation
The MIG - COOL CART 100 / MIG - COOL 100 may be assembled with the MIG/MAG welding
unit MEGAPULS 250 to make a compact system (see chapter 4). The handle offers the
opportunity to set down the torch, earth cable etc.
The large wheels and the wide wheelbase ensure safe transport. Ensure that the MEGAPULS
250 is placed into its grooves of the water cooling device MIG - COOL CART 100 and/or MIG -
COOL 100 and the screw included is tightened. The tank lid has a new valve system that does
not allow water to penetrate, but still ensures pressure compensation in the tank (e.g. when the
coolant is warmed). The MIG - COOL CART 100 and/or MIG - COOL 100 may also be
transported lying down.
Position the water cooling unit in such a way that there is always sufficient fresh air to cool the
water cooling unit available. Place the water cooling unit safely on an even, solid surface. The
slope of the set up position may have a maximum of 10°. With a greater angle of slope, the water
cooling unit will tend to tilt or roll away. The water cooling unit is not suitable for use in the rain.
The water cooling device MIG - COOL CART 100 and the MEGAPULS 250 welding unit may be
transported as one unit using the crane lugs.

100. Do not attach it at the handles or other parts of the MEGAPULS 250 unit. Please lift the unit
using the crane lugs only without the gas cylinder (see figure 5).
