Before first Use
Remove all packaging components from the unit. Do not leave
packing materials lying around carelessly. Plastic bags etc. can be
dangerous toys for children. Clean the unit before first use.
Intendet Use
The salt/pepper mill is intended to be used with salt and pepper only
and for spicing dishes.
Inserting Batteries and Filling the Container
1. Hold the container (4) with one hand and turn the housing cover
(5) counter clockwise in direction to the "opened padlock". Pull
the cover upright to remove it.
2. Insert 6 fresh batteries of the type LR03 (AAA) into the battery
compartments (2). Observe the right polarity. The battery polarity
symbols are shown in the battery compartments.
3. Unscrew the container (4) from the motor unit by
turning the motor unit counter clockwise. Fill the contai-
ner up to approx. 80 % with pepper or salt.
4. Put the housing cover over the motor unit. Turn the
housing cover in direction to the "locked padlock".
Operation
Remove the lid. (6). Tilt the salt/pepper mill in
order to operate the grinding unit.
You can set the required grinding size by
turning the adjusting screw (1):
turn in direction to the small dots for fine
grinding,
turn in direction to the large dots for coarse
grinding.
