Pause
After pressing of the pause button 9, the pick-up remains in its
momentary position. The set switches to mute. When the button is
pressed again, the set continues to play from this position.
Programming of various songs in any
desired sequence
— Up to 16 songs can be programmed (also during manual play).
— Press desired program button 17.
— Number blinks in display.
— Press Prog. button 16. Song is programmed.
— Program the next songs in the same way.
— Input songs 11-19 with O button and buttons 1-9.
— For songs 20—29 press 0 button twice and press buttons 1-9.
— For songs 30-39 press O button three times and press buttons
1-9.
— If more than 16 songs are programmed, Er appears in display.
Starting the selected music program
— Press Prog. button 16.
— Prog. appears in the display.
— The programmed songs are played in the input sequence.
- If no songs are programmed, the Er display lights up.
— With the > Play/Next button 6 you can advance to the next
programmed song while a song is being played.
— With the SB button 5 you can go back to the previous programmed
song.
Clearing the programming
Clearing the entire program
— First press Clear button 13, keep depressed and additionally press
Prog. button 16.
— The entire program is also cleared when the Power button 1 or the
Open/Close button 3 is pressed.
Clearing the A B interval marks
First press Clear button 13, keep depressed and additionally press
A B button 15.
Clearing individual songs
— Press Stop button 10.
— Press respective program button.
— Number blinks in display.
— Press Clear button 13. Song is cleared from program.
Search forwards and backwards
— lf the >> FF button 7 or the << FB button 4 is pressed during
playback, the pick-up runs quickly over the disc either forwards or
backwards as long as the button is depressed.
— Portions of music can be heard at reduced volume.
— After the button is released, the set continues to play from the
momentary position.
— If button 7 or 4 is pressed in Pause position, the set reverts to
Pause position after the button is released.
— If one of these buttons is depressed for longer than 5 seconds, the
search speed is increased and the listening-in function is switched
off.
Display
With the Displ. button 14 the display can be switched over to 4
positions.
1. The song no. being played and
— the time that this song has already been played.
2. Remain
The song no. being played and
— the remaining playing time of all songs to be played (only for
manual play).
3. Total
The number of all songs of the disc as well as
— the total playing time of the disc.
After approx. 5 seconds the display automatically switches over to
position 1.
4. lf the Displ. button
14 is pressed
in the Total position, the
programmed songs are displayed in steps
— and, if no song numbers higher than no. 18 were programmed,
the correspondingly added-up total playing time of the program-
med songs.
Remote control
The following functions can be operated via the RC 40 remote control.
Press button CD on remote control unit.
Display * 20 indicates that the set was operated via remote control.
— Manual play.
— Direct selection of a song.
— Search backwards and forwards.
— Pause.
— Reverse to next lower song no.
— Advance to next higher song no.
— Stop.
Battery change
- Mis infrared RC 40 remote control is supplied power by a 6-volt flat
attery.
— If the range should become diminished or the * 20 display does not
light up when the remote control is operated, a battery change is
necessary.
— The battery compartment is on the back of the remote control unit.
— Only use a leakproof 6-volt flat battery. FLAT PAK 7 K 67,
Care and maintenance
Records
The records must be handled carefully. In order to avoid fingerprints on
the shiny side of the records, they must only be held at the outer edge.
