3.4 Temperature settings

The UB 75 electric underblanket allow automatic-off switching to be selected to operate after
approx. 2, 6, 9 or 12 h. In addition, UB 75 is provided with an automatic resetting system for
switching back to temperature level 4 from temperature levels 5 and 6 after approx. 3 hours.
UB 60: This heated underblanket switches off automatically after approximately 3 hours.
When the UB 60, UB 75 electric underblankets are heating up, the red signal lamp in the
switch is lit. After being switched off by the timer, the electric underblanket is no longer heated
up and the red signal lamp starts to flash. To heat up the electric underblanket again, first set
the switch to "0" (Off) for approx. 5 seconds and then select the temperature level you require.
If the electric underblanket is no longer used after being switched off by the timer, switch it off
("0") or remove the power plug from the power supply.

4. Cleaning and care

Always remove the power plug from the power supply before cleaning the electric underblan-
ket. Small spots can be removed with a cloth or damp sponge and if necessary a little mild
liquid detergent. Note that the electric underblanket must not be dry cleaned, wrung out, ma-
chine dried or ironed. On no account switch on the electric underblanket to dry it. Do not hang
up the electric underblanket with clothes pegs or similar to dry it.

If very dirty, the electric underblanket can be washed by hand at 30 °C (not hand wash cycle
of washing machines). Use a mild liquid detergent for the hand wash (dosage according to
manufacturer's instructions). Ensure that no water enters the switch during washing and drying.
4.2 cleaning and care of electric underblankets uB 60, 66 XXL, 75
This electric underblanket is machine washable. Before the washing
cycle, first disconnect the plug connection and thus remove the plug
from the electric underblanket (see illustration).
Set the washing machine to a particularly gentle, 30°C cycle (wool-
lens programme). Use a wool laundry detergent and follow the
manufacturer's instructions.
Note that the electric underblanket will suffer from too frequent
washing. For its entire life, therefore, the electric underblanket
should be washed not more than 5 times in a washing machine.
