Protection mechanisms inside the appliance
The compressor starts with a three-minute delay.
A temperature limiter is fitted to the compressor, which blocks
the compressor at excessive temperatures (>115 °c) until the
temperature has fallen again (<100 °c). The compressor starts with
a three-minute delay. If the compressor is at 115 °c for longer
than five seconds, it will be blocked until the temperature drops
to 90 °c.
The electronic assemblies are equipped with electronic monitoring
facilities for excess voltage, excess current and excess temperature.
If any of these functions responds, a corresponding fault code is
shown on the internal appliance display.
All sensors are tested for short circuits and lead breaks.

Fault table
In case of a fault, never continue to use the air conditioning
system. Trip the McB or disconnect the fuse. contact our customer
service. State the model designation (see type plate) and describe
the problem.

10. maintenance
10.1.1 maintenance work
A requirement for long-lasting operational readiness and safety,
reliability and a long service life is an annual appliance service
by the contractor.
Danger to life through electrocution!
Even when the appliance is off, electric power is present
at the terminals of the wall mounted air conditioning
appliance. Prior to maintenance work, always discon-
nect the power supply. Ensure that it is secured against
unintentional reconnection.
clean the appliance once a year:
f check the air inlet and air outlet for plant growth, leaves
and other accumulated dirt. Remove dirt and clean the heat
exchanger.
f check the correct condensate drain by pouring approx.
one litre of warm soapy water slowly and evenly into the
condensate tray.
f Observe country-specific instructions regarding maintenance
intervals.
10.1.2 maintenance intervals
Air conditioning systems should be serviced once a year, directly
after the main period of use.
10.1.3 reduced maintenance intervals
Air conditioning systems which are used under critical environ-
mental conditions should be serviced three times in the first year
of operation. Further maintenance intervals must be specifically
determined by our customer service.
11. Service
We recommend arranging a maintenance contract.
