2.1
instructions and regulations
- All necessary steps until commissioning is completed, as well
as the maintenance of this appliance, may only be carried out
by a contractor approved for such work, in accordance with
these instructions.
- Perfect function and safe operation can only be assured
when using the original accessories and spare parts intended
for the appliance.
- Observe the country-specific instructions and regulations
regarding the electrical connection and refrigerant handling.
- Observe the regulations of your local electricity supply utility.
2.2
electrical installation
- The electrical connection must be designed as a permanent
connection. Operation via cable reels or multiple socket
outlets is not permissible.
- The air conditioning system must be able to be separated
from the mains power supply, for example by fuses that
disconnect all poles with at least 3 mm contact separation.
2.3
correct use
These air conditioning systems are suitable for cooling, heating,
dehumidifying and ventilating the room air in private or
commercial rooms within the temperature limits given in the
chapter "Specification".
Any other use is considered inappropriate, in particular usage in
warehouses, food stores, rooms designated for keeping livestock
or horticultural use, and rooms containing precision instruments
or artwork.
correct use also includes observation of the operating and
installation instructions.
Only use the air conditioning system for the purpose stated by
the manufacturer and never change or convert the appliance in
any way.

The internal appliance and external unit must be the
same output size and have the following product identifi-
cation. Single-split internal appliances, for example, may
not be connected to dual-split external units. Observe the
following compatibility table to prevent material damage.
