5.3.2 Electronic
The electronic equipment has been installed securely into the machine according to VDE (Institute of
Electrical Engineering, Electric, and Information Engineering e.V) regulations.
Before the stone cutting machine is connected to the main power supply the following points are to be
checked:
- The electronic equipment needs to correspond with the supply voltage and supply frequency.
- Electrical installation are to be checked with regards to transport damages; all damaged parts and
circuits are to be exchanged with new parts that have the same technical data.
- Check if the machine has an upstream contact switch (FI)
! ! ! All electrical work on the machine is only to be carried out by qualified and trained personnel.
Nach dem elektrischen Anschließen der Maschine ist die Drehrichtung des Antriebsmotors zu über-
prüfen.
5. 3.3 Water cooling unit
The water tub of the machine is to be filled with water so that the water pump is totally covered with
water.
Attention! To assure the sound function of the machine the water pump needs to be cleaned regularly!
5.4 Trial run without Material
! ! ! Diamond-cutting disc:
rotating direction in feeding direction, by looking at the cutting disc cover clockwise.
By a wrong rotating direction, then the only things that need to be changed are the phases on
the plug.
The idle run needs to be made first thing after the assembly. By this there is meant the start-up
of the motor to be assured that all machine parts are functional. To be able to perform the idle
run the aggregates in question can be switched on and that the rotating direction test has been
performed.
The trial run has to be performed in the following sequence:
- Turn on the machine at the main power switch
- Cutting disc is turning and the cooling water flows
- Move the cutting aggregate several times up and down
- Move the sliding table several times back and forth
- Switch off the machine again
- Repeat this procedure several times
