REPLACEMENT
OF
PHONO
MOTORS
There
are four kinds
of phono
motors and they can be
identified by the marks (no mark, red, black, blue) given at
their bottoms.
When replacing the existing phono motor with the new one,
it is needed
to cut off one of the four resistors (R861,
R862,
R863,
R864)
on
the microcomputer
PWB
of the
player, and the resistor to be cut off must have the same
mark
as that given for the new
phono motor.
After the
replacement,
it is further
needed
to add to the micro-
computer PWB the same type of resistor as that which had
been
removed
when the existing phono motor was used.
