The instrument is protected against peak currents
during switching the unit on and off, however radio
interferences during switching may generate a
current pulse with an undefined peak. For this
reason, before switching the unit on or off, you have
to disconnect the load. If the above is not respected,
the connected load might by damaged or destroyed.
Before connecting the load, it has to be ensured that
both potentiometer "Voltage" and "Current" are
turned to maximum left travel (minimum value).
Otherwise a current may flow during the connection
of the load resulting in a possible destruction of the
