USE
STARTING / STOPPING
When the power switch is pressed the motor
starts, but the spindle with the screw bit does
not rotate. The spindle rotates only when the
screw bit is fitted and pressed against a screw,
so that the spindle coupling engages.
The power switch can be locked in the On
position for continuous operation.
1.
Press the power switch (A) to start the drill
driver. The speed increases the more the
switch is pressed.
2.
Switch off by releasing the switch.
3.
For continuous operation, press the power
switch, press the power switch lock button
(B) and then release the power switch.
4.
To switch off the drill driver when the
power switch is locked, press the power
switch and then release it.
FIG. 11
IMPORTANT:
•
The drill driver switches off
automatically when the motor has run
for about 6 minutes.
•
If the drill driver is left with the power
switch locked in the on position for use
with pressure-activated spindle coupling
and is not used for 8 hours, it will shut
off completely. If this happens, release
36
the power switch lock and then press the
power switch again to start.
WORK LIGHT
1.
To switch on the work light, tap the power
switch and then press it for a few seconds.
The light goes out automatically about
10 seconds after releasing the power
switch. Tap the power switch to switch on
the light again.
2.
To switch off the work light, tap the power
switch and then press it for a few seconds.
When used with a locked power switch and
pressure-activated spindle coupling, the work light
switches off about 1 minute after the motor stops.
ROTATION SELECTOR
Press the button to select the direction of
rotation.
IMPORTANT:
•
Always check the direction of rotation
before use.
•
Wait until all moving parts have
completely stopped before changing the
direction of rotation, otherwise this can
damage the drill driver.
•
Always put the rotation selector in
neutral when not using the drill driver.
DEPTH ADJUSTMENT
The screwing depth can be adjusted with the
depth stop.
1.
Turn the stop in direction (A) to reduce
the depth and in direction (B) to increase.
One turn corresponds to a 2 mm change
in the depth.
FIG. 12
2.
Set the depth stop so that the gap
between the screw head and the front
edge of the stop is about 3 mm (C).
