SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR
BATTERY
• Before using the battery charger, carefully
read all instructions and warnings on the
battery charger, the battery, and the
product the battery is to be used for.
• Do not attempt to open or dismantle the
battery.
• Stop using the product immediately if the
battery run-time drops significantly – risk
of overheating and explosion and/or fire.
• If you get battery fluid in your eyes, rinse
them with clean water for at least 10
minutes and then seek medical attention
immediately. Battery fluid can cause eye
damage, and/or impaired vision.
• Never short-circuit the battery. Short
circuiting discharges large amounts of
energy that can cause a fire, serious
personal injury and/or material damage.
– Never allow conductive material to
short circuit the terminals on the
charger or battery.
– When the battery is not in use keep it
away from metal objects such as
paperclips, coins, keys, nails, screws
and other metal objects that can
short circuit the terminals.
– Do not expose the battery to rain or
moisture.
• Do not store the battery where the
temperature can exceed 50°C.
• Do not burn batteries – risk of explosion.
• Do not subject the battery to knocks or
blows.

• Recycle used batteries in accordance with
local regulations.
TIPS FOR BEST BATTERY LIFE
• Charge the battery before it is fully
discharged. Charge the battery
immediately when the product loses
power.
• Never charge a fully-charged battery.
Overcharging reduces the life span of the
battery.
• Charge the battery at a temperature from
10 to 40°C. The battery will get hot during
long periods of use. Allow it to cool before
charging.
• Charge the battery if the product is not
going to be used for some time (more
than 6 months).
