Statusanzeige LED Heizungsaktor AKH -
Jeder Kanal verfügt über eine LED, welche den Schaltzustand des jeweiligen Kanals angeben. Zusätzlich zum Status zeigen diese
Kanal LEDs auch Störungen an. Die Störungen werden wie folgt angezeigt:
• 2x blinken, lange Pause, 2x blinken
Der Kanal befindet sich im Notbetrieb aufgrund Stellwertausfall
• 3x blinken, lange Pause, 3x blinken
Im 230 V Betrieb wird ein Netzausfall erkannt und durch ein Blinken signalisiert. Da meist 4 Kanäle
gemeinsam gespeist werden, blinken auch 4 Kanäle gleichzeitig. Beim 4-fach Aktor muss der
1. Kanal immer belegt sein, beim 8-fach Aktor zusätzlich noch der 5. Kanal. Ist dies nicht der Fall,
geht der Aktor in den Störbetrieb und signalisiert dies über das gleichzeitige Blinken aller Kanal LEDs.
• 4x blinken, lange Pause, 4x blinken
Der zugehörige Kanal befindet sich im Überlastbetrieb oder hat einen Kurzschluss am Ausgang.
Das normale Verhalten des Aktors wird ebenfalls wie folgt über diese LEDs angezeigt:
• schaltender Betrieb (1 Bit)
Die LED zeigt das Schaltverhalten des Ausgangs an. Gibt der Zweipunktregler ein 1-Signal aus,
so leuchtet die LED.
• stetig (1 Byte)/ integrierter Regler
Die LED wird im PWM-Betrieb betrieben, mit der festen Periodendauer von 4s und blinkt im
Rhythmus des Stellwertes. Bei 50 % wäre die LED demnach 2 s an und 2 s aus.
Every channel contains of a LED, which shows the current state of the channel. Additional to the status, these LEDs show errors of
the channels. The errors are shown as described below:
• 2x flashing, long break, 2x flashing
The channel is in emergency mode due to missing control value.
• 3x flashing, long break, 3x flashing
At the 230 V mode a mains voltage failure can additional be recognized. Because often 4 channels
are supplied in common, all 4 channels are flashing. At the four fold actuator, the first channel must
be always connected to a load. At the 8-fold actuator, additionally the fifth channel must be
connected to a load. Otherwise the actuator will switch to the error mode and show this by a flashing
off all channel-LEDs.
• 4x flashing, long break, 4x flashing
The belonging channel is at the overload mode or has a short circuit at the output.
The normal behavior of the actuator is also shown via these LEDs as described below:
• switching mode (1 Bit)
The LED shows the switching behavior of the output. If the 2-step controller sends a 1-signal, the
LED is switched on.
• continuous mode (1 Byte)
The LED operates at the PWM mode with the fixed period of 4s and flashes with the adenc
of the control value. At a control value of 50 %, the LED will light up for 2 s and will be off for 2 s.

Description Heating Actuator AKH
Der MDT Heizungsaktor mit integriertem Temperaturregler empfängt KNX/EIB Telegramme und steuert bis zu 8 Regelkreise unabhängig
voneinander. Jeder Kanal verfügt über eine eigene LED Anzeige. Jeder Kanal kann bis zu 4 Stellantriebe steuern und ist durch die ETS in-
dividuell programmierbar. Der Heizungsaktor kann mit PWM (1 Bit) oder stetigen 1 Byte Stellgrößen angesteuert werden. Zusätzlich besteht
die Möglichkeit den integrierten Temperaturregler direkt mit KNX- Temperatursensoren anzusteuern. Zur Auswahl beim Regler stehen
Komfort-, Nacht-, Frostschutzbetrieb sowie Sommer- und Winterbetrieb. Der MDT Heizungsaktor verfügt über eine 230 V AC Spannungsaus-
fallerkennung, Notbetrieb bei Ausfall der zyklischen Stellgrößen und Objekte zur Heizungsanforderung sowie eine Festsitzschutzfunktion.
Der MDT Heizungsaktor ist zur festen Installation auf einer Hutprofilschiene in Verteilungen vorgesehen. Die Montage muss in trockenen
Innenräumen erfolgen.
The MDT Heating Actuator with integrated temperature controller receives KNX/EIB telegrams and controls up to 8 independent electrical
outputs . Each channel has its own LED indicator. Each channel supplies up to 4 electrothermic valve drives and can be parameterized
individually via ETS. The channels are controllable with PWM (1 Bit) or 1 Byte telegrams. The integrated temperature controller manages
the actuating value given by external KNX temperature sensors. The temperature controller offers comfort-, night-, frost protection- and
summer- /winter- operation. The MDT Heating Actuator detects mains voltage failure and has emergency operation if the cyclic telegram is
missing. Additionally they provide objects for heating request and cyclic movement of the valves. The MDT Heating Actuator is a modular
installation device for fixed installation in dry rooms. It fits on DIN 35 mm rails in power distribution boards or closed compact boxes.

1. Physikalische Adresse vergeben und Applikationsprogramm in der ETS erstellen.
Assign the physical address and set parameters with the ETS.
2. Laden Sie die Physikalische Adresse und das Applikationsprogramm in den Heizungsaktor.
Drücken Sie den Programmiertaster wenn Sie dazu aufgefordert werden.
Upload the physical address and parameters into the Heating Actuator.
After request press programming button.
3. Die rote LED erlischt nach erfolgreicher Programmierung.
After sucessfull programming the red LED turns off.
Montage und Anschluss Heizungsaktor AKH -
1. Montieren Sie den Heizungsaktor auf der Hutschiene.
Place the Heating Actuator on DIN 35 mm rail.
2. Schließen Sie den Heizungsaktor am KNX Bus an.
Connect the Heating Actuator to the KNX bus.
3. Verkabeln Sie den Heizungsaktor laut Zeichnung.
Wire up the Heating Actuator as descripted in the circuit diagram.
4. Busspannungsversorgung zuschalten.
Switch on KNX power supply.
5. Versorgungsnetzspannung und Netzspannung Eingänge zuschalten.
