Press, EP100 D – EP100 D F Type G4 – G5
Important: Read and understand this manual before use!
CAUTION
Please note that the centre of gravity is positioned very high!
1. Transportation by forklift: Place the forks under the top part of the frame,
the lifting points are marked on the packaging.
2. Transportation by crane: Same lifting points as by using a forklift.
3. Transportation by pallet truck: The press must be supported on the top during the transportation to
eliminate the risk that the press is tilting.
Safety and Use:
Use the press for the normal straightening, bending and pressing purposes ONLY ! and by a skilled
person ONLY ! who has been instructed completely regarding both the use and the risks by using a
press.
DO NOT use the press beyond the indicated max. pressure and max. length of stroke as this may
cause damage to the seals in the cylinder.
Always be aware of the risk! For items under pressure to be thrown out of the press.
Take care that NO danger situations for persons e.g. damage to hands and fingers could occur at use.
Be aware that when only one of the two straightening blocks is used, the pressure may not exceed
40% of the max capacity.
Mounting:
Control handle (H) and adjustment screw (G), for the control valve isn't mounted,
due to transportation reasons.
Mount control handle (H) on the control valve, and tighten the lock nut.
Mount adjustment screw (G) on the control valve,
and turn it clockwise until you feel a little resistant.
The press must be thoroughly fixed to the floor by bolts.
Please Note! That the press is delivered,
with hydraulic oil filled into the oil tank.
Installation of the electro-hydraulic pump unit:
It is important that an electrician installs the electric connections. Check the direction of rotation on the
motor, witch is illustrated with an arrow on the shield of the electro-motor.
Wrong direction of rotation may after short time cause damage to the electro-motor.

Sound pressure level at max. Capacity: 79 dB(A).
